Things that attract krappy customers:

(1) selling to vague audiences.

(2) selling in marketplaces.

(3) selling "quick fixes".

(4) pricing your products and services too low.

Well I am definitely guilty of 1, 2 and 4. Not sure about 3. In the end, maybe there is no long term future in selling low-priced courses on udemy/plcdojo. What could I do to fix this?

(1) I could try and come up with some local B2B Micro-SaaS service, and have recurring revenue.

(2) As an extension to #1, it could be a B2B Micro-SaaS service that is international.

(3) I could try to develop courses in a totally different area and sell them on my own new platform, or in a special PLCDojo section.

I am by no means saying that I am going to abandon efforts to increase course sales revenue. I am definitely going ahead with that. But I still have to look at other options and be aware of the reality.
