Taking Days
I try as much as possible to work on things that have the greatest effect on my revenue. I think that I have done a good job where that is concerned. But in doing so, I have sacrificed doing some things just for the joy of it, doing some things just for the doing and not for any particular gain. I think that it was a necessary sacrifice.
But I am running out of time. I am running out of life.
The BACnet update is almost done. Few other things to do that are not urgent. There is more work ahead. There will always be more work ahead. In the light of this reality, I can't "wait till the work is done" to take a break or indulge in something just for the sake of doing it. So why not take the rest of October off from doing any revenue generation work. If there ever was a time that I could take this risk, it is now.
So then that's it. Decision made. Go ahead.
