Sustainable
I can't sprint forever. No one can. That's what Dad tried to do and it destroyed him. I am experimenting, trying to find a solution to building back my income. But I have to do this in a different way than I am accustomed to.
There must be a balance that I had never had before, and the purpose of that balance is to ensure sustainability. Earning a sustainable high income is a key aspect, but it is not the only one. I have to make progress on the income side, but not at the expense of the other aspects of my life.
Time is going by and I have reached that age where there is no time to wait again. I have reached that age where NOW is the only time there is to start.
I will say though that I am not doing badly at all these days. I think I am moving myself toward a really balanced way of working and living. I am being deliberate.
Progress is being made. I just have to continue along this road and get better and better at it.
