Examining The Narrative
I know what could happen. I have been here before. The rumination could happen which would have zero productive output. It would also use up all of my mental energy and possibly ruin my entire day.
I have to stop and have a look at the narrative in my head, and truly examine it to see what is real and what is myth. And one of the useful ways to examine my narrative, my thoughts is to get them out of my head and down on "paper". And that is what I am doing now. This is not a waste of time. This is an effective and prudent use of my time. It is also a sign of maturity, of emotional maturity.
The topic today is income. As new information comes to hand, it must be examined carefully to see if a change in strategy and/or tactics is required. Rash decisions must not be made. I want to repeat that. Rash decisions must not be made.
The recent shocking mid-month revenue number from PLCDojo ($175) could potentially cause me to make rash and impulsive decisions which would be ultimately detrimental to income and to me.
So let's proceed carefully. Will use Evernote to do the exercise.
