Chores
I know the deal. I know it all too well. And I know how to get out of it. If I do not face the vacay prep head on, then I will find myself scrambling at the last minute. I would be unprepared, frustrated and kicking myself for wasting all of the time that I had, because in fact I do have a lot of time to prepare.
It's just that I am so very tired of doing chores, things that I have to do, that I need to do, but I definitely do not want to do. None of it is fun at all. None of it is what I want to do. None of it makes me smile. I just want to do my work, to work on my art. That's all I want to do. Isn't that enough? And that is a handful all by itself.
In the end, I just have to slog through it. There is no hack, there is no shortcut. It's a burden and a slog. Accepting that is a first step and a good step. The second step is just to slog through it.
At that's it essentially. No reason to talk about it anymore. More words will not help.
