A Start
I guess this can be repetitive. But so is bad news, traffic, annoying people and the rest of it all that conspire to make this world a generally unpleasant place. So it is my right to repeat these things as much as possible. And more than that, it is imperative.
These past two days I have put myself and my things first before the work. It was at times bumpy but it worked out quite well. I got more than I thought I would get done, and they were important personal things.
I am wondering now if a new balance moving forward can be struck. I do not abandon work altogether, but rather bring it back in a different way. The personal care must always be of a higher priority than the work. This does not mean it has to displace it.
I can see most days where I would be able to do both. But on the days when only one must be done, the personal will win out over the work.
